GPG Services: Decrypted Filenames

I'm using GPGTools to decrypt .gpg files. However, files are always decrypted into the form msg.txt. If my file is a PDF for instance, I have to rename it to a PDF file extension to use the file properly. IMHO the tool should attempt to read a filename/extension prior to the .gpg and name the decrypted file accordingly. Ie. opening Document.pdf.gpg with GPGTools should decrypt the file to Document.pdf, not msg.txt.

    Hi Steve,

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

Are you able to reliably reproduce this behavior with a file you encrypt yourself? Pick any pdf, encrypt it using GPG Services and after than decrypt. What file name and suffix are you then seeing for the decrypted file?

    Best,
    Steve
