Hello PGP team,

little confused here: I’ve created a new public key on 1.10.19 and got some important messages the same day. A few weeks ago I noticed that these messages has been disappeared. They are still available on my mobile, I but can’t read them obviously, because they are encrypted. Any chance to help me out? Actually I find this hole GPG app not very user friendly, that’s why I avoid buying it… Any chance to decode these messages from my phone on my mac?
Help much appreciated!
Best Regards
Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

GPG Mail will not tamper with your messages and we have not had a single case where it removed existing messages.

Can you share which method you are using to connect to your email provider on macOS and on iOS?

Regarding the general setup: are you having specifc questions? Were you able to test your setup by sending an encrypted and signed email to yourself?

    Best,
    Steve
