Loosing attachment when sending signed mails
Hi,
im using GPGSuite with Apple Mail on mac OS Monterey. For signing and encrypting mails im using a key signed with my own CA. Now that basically works well but now I get replies from some people that attachments I sent will not reach through. In this case im only signing the mail but not the attachment (pdfs most of the time) and dont encrypt at all. Receivers mailserver is an Exchange server. Can someone give me a hint what to look for?
Best Regards
Thomas

Hi Thomas,
welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry to hear you are having problems using GPG Suite.
I am not sure I understand the part about using a key signed by your own CA. Can you elaborate how you created your key?
Best,
Steve

Hi Steve,
I may mixed up things here. To create my key I first create an private
key, from this I create my public key. What I do in addition: I add an
revoker key created from the CA to the public key. I have to say at the
moment I have the issue only with one recipient....or I didnt get notice
from others.
Best Regards
Thomas

Hi Thomas,
are you following a guide for the key creation? If so, could you send a link please. If not, please write down the exact steps you are taking for your setup so we can better understand the issue you are having.
Could you also send an email with attachment to yourself and see if that reproduces the problem.
Best,
Steve
