Which of our tools is giving you problems?

GPG Keychain Mac (Version 1.5.1 )

Attach a screenshot of the version info for all installed components (how to: https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/kb/faq/where-can-i-find-version-info...):

Describe your problem. Add as much detail as possible.

I create a new key using a long password. Then when I want to do anything with this key in GPG (sign, decrypt, etc) I am prompted for a passphrase. I enter the password i used, but it never works? What the hell am I supposed to be entering for pass phrase? I was not asked for anything separate from the password/phrase I entered when I created the key, I have 1000% confirmed that the password/phrase I used to create the key is right. Am i supposed to be using my Mac keychain password?

What did you expect instead for it to do what i wanted (sign, decrypt, etc)

Describe steps leading to the problem. i create a new key, then whan i want to do ANYTHING with it, GPG prompts me for pass phrase and i never can get past this.

Are you using any other Mail.app plugins? no

    Hi mkopp.sf,

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

Please excuse the late reply as we were in the midst of preparing the GPG Suite 2020.1 release.

Could you update to that release and let me know if that changes anything for the better or worse?

    Best,
    Steve
