no-emit-version
It looks like people have been having issues with this for years, and there still seems to be no resolution.
When you add no-emit-version to the gpg.conf file exporting keys and message blocks still show the version. Why is it ignoring the file?

could you please install GPG Suite Beta 4 from https://gpgtools.org
This issue should be resolved by now.
Please let us know if it works.

we never heard back from you. Assuming this works now. It should be working as expected with GPG Suite beta 5 available from our homepage.
