cant use text

[I cant seem to use txtedit to encrypt files after I just downloaded the latest version today on 27July2013. When I try to encrypt I start the process of selecting the txt, right clicking and going to services>OpenPGP Encrypt and after checking the box to encrypt nothing happens? With the last version it would encrypt right away. Can you help, thanks for all your hard work ]

this is the error I get
The “OpenPGP: Encrypt” service could not be used because the “GPGServices” application did not respond to a request for services.

we're sorry. What you seeing is an error that slipped through. We are working on a fix right now.

we've just released a new version of GPG Suite which should fix any problems on OS X 10.6
