MacGPG: Entropy on macOS
I have a GPGTools support plan and would like to find out some information regarding the process for key generation, specifically ECC based keys on macOS.
Does the entropy, when generating ECC keys on Mojave, get taken from /dev/urandom? or does GPG use it's on CSPRNG?
Thanks,
John

Hi John,
gpg is using /dev/random on macOS. For further details, this question is best asked at the gnupg users mailling list.
All the best,
Steve
