I completely deleted all keys from my gpg app. Then attempted to restore the .gnupg folder from before. However, the key is not there.

What do you mean by "attempted to restore the .gnupg folder from before"? Do you have a backup you are trying to restore from?
Do I understand correctly, you removed all keys by accident?
