Hi all,

just wanted to let you know that the hack for DP 3 still works for the new DP 4:

$ sudo defaults write /Library/Mail/Bundles/GPGMail.mailbundle/Contents/Info.plist SupportedPluginCompatibilityUUIDs -array-add "$(grep -A 1 "PluginCompatibilityUUID" /Applications/Mail.app/Contents/Info.plist | grep string | cut -f 2 -d ">" | cut -f 1 -d "<")"

$ sudo chmod 644 /Library/Mail/Bundles/GPGMail.mailbundle/Contents/Info.plist

Just apply these two lines after an OS X update with closed Mail app and fire-up Mail again!

    After running the two commands from Werner, I'm still getting the popup telling me GPGMail has been disabled. I removed the .mailbundle and reinstalled. No dice.

    Rob,

    This is the result I get from DP4.

    PluginCompatibilityUUID = "BAF70BEF-2B7A-43CF-8C78-E5AE56543A4F";

    GPGMail Mavericks

    A feature complete version for Mavericks is available and ready for testing.
    This version should work on 10.7, 10.8 and 10.9.

    What to look out for when testing:

    • Especially focus on testing if everything works as expected on Mavericks
    • We've added the sign and encrypt by default settings to the GPGMail preference pane
    • Integrated gnupg 2.0.22 into MacGPG which comes with important security fixes

    Donwload from:
    https://releases.gpgtools.org/nightlies/GPG%20Suite-latest.dmg

    Please report any issues you find at
    http://support.gpgtools.org/discussion/new
    Make sure to put "10.9: " in the subject line for all Mavericks related reports.

    Known Issues
    * GPGMail checkbox for "Encrypt drafts" not aligned * Localization for default options not available (english only currently) * GPGMail Mavericks will show as v2.0.3 Build: 565n

    Looking forward to your feedback.

    Best regards,
    GPGTools Team
