Yes this is a problem!
Submitting or searching for keys is Broken.
Other solutions use multiple redundant key servers.
how is this now an issue?

And the reCAPTCHA is lame...

    Hi Jason,

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

Could you please send a debug log from your affected machine: Open System Preferences > GPG Suite > Send Report. Check the box to "attach debug log". Since you already described your issue in this discussion, you don't need to add a lot of detail, but please do add the link to your existing discussion, so I can then merge your debug info with this existing discussion.

Have you tried different key servers from the default list? Are they all not allowing submitting or searching for keys?

The reCATCHA is maybe to an ideal solution but it is the best spam protection this support platform offers. And sadly not having any spam protection at all is not an option.

    All the best,
    Steve

P.S.: We would kindly ask you to create a new discussion, whenever you need assistance with GPG Suite, even if your problem looks similar to the one you are replying to. While the symptoms are often very much alike, the root cause often differs. Having separate discussions allows to focus better on your particular issue.

To proceed we have split your comment into a separate discussion.

The once chosen sucks, other spam solutions do not suck, none also
sucks, spam also sucks, maybe sucking is the point?

I'll be back at my Mom's computer in April and will gladly send a debug
on why her key did not get published, or frankly the topic should be of
    interest for the developers.

I think there is some weak link in the chain to submit public keys.  Is
    the system redundant?

Thank you for your considered reply to my brief response to another
thread which indicated a problem I was searching the forums to find a
solution for (after spam protection was appeased)

    Have a nice day,

    Jason

You could maybe remote access the computer and retry the key upload after switching to another key server from the default list.

Could you please download and install our latest hotfix GPG Suite and see if that solves your problem.

    All the best,
    Steve

    Hi Jason,

please excuse the rude comment by user Patrick. We removed his comment.

Were you able to try out the nightly build?

    Best,
    Steve

    Steve,

I did install it and it's working great for me and my keys.  I will
shortly create a new key and see if I can encounter the issue where
submitting a key silently fails and ends up not being published as is
what happened with my mom's install.

    Have a great week!

    Jason

Ok, pleae keep us posted how that goes. And don't forget to revoke unused test keys and upload the revoked version so you don't end up with duplicate valid keys for the same email.
