GPGServices?

[Tool Name goes here]

What’s the version of that tool? (read the following knowledge base article to learn how to find a tool's version: http://support.gpgtools.org/kb/faq/where-can-i-find-the-version-inf...)

[Tool version goes here]

10.8.3

I am using WebPG for Firefox, Chrome, and thunderbird. For the PGP bits, WebPG/gpgpAuth.org defer to GPGTools for installing all PGP software on the mac. WebPG's config page is reporting that /usr/bin/gpgconf does not exist and, indeed, ls /usr/bin/gpgconf reports that it does not exist.

/usr/bin/gpgconf to be installed.

I have filed a ticket to WebPG. However, you could symlink /usr/local/MacGPG2/bin/gpgconf to /usr/bin/gpgconf

    Hi Zachary!

We try to install MacGPG2 only in /usr/local/MacGPG2, however in some cases we need to create symlinks in /usr/local/bin, but we don't want this.
/usr/local/MacGPG2/bin is in the PATH environment variable, so every software can find it. WebPG should check PATH to find gpgconf, instead of using hardcoded paths.
You can create a symlink for yourself.

    Regards, Mento

The WebPG NPAPI plugin does not check for paths at all, it delegates the task to GnuPG. The option to override any of the paths is for environments where the location of GnuPG utilities or the keyring are in a non-standard location. Wherever possible, WebPG attempts to not subvert the standard GnuPG configuration, as it's stated intent is to extend GnuPG to the web, not implement it.

In the current release(s) of WebPG, the paths should not be an issue with a proper GnuPG installation, so unless you have a compelling argument otherwise, I'm not sure this is a good course of action... Thoughts?

So either you GPGTools isn't reporting the correct config or WebPG isn't do something right... If you could just resolve the issue/clarify the issue with the developer, I would greatly appreciate it.

Looks like WebPG got things fixed. Thank you.
