I do have the same question. This way of "licensing" configuration is quite annoying.

    Hi Reklow,

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

Please excuse the late reply, we are deeply sorry for not responding earlier. The amount of feedback we received in regards to the GPG Suite 2018.4 release was overwhelming. We are doing our best to catch up as fast as we can.

In case several users exist on your mac of whom only some use GPG Mail, please open Mail.app > Preferences > General and in the Plug-In Manager in the user account not using GPG Mail. Then disable GPG Mail. Go through all users not looking to use GPG Mail.

We have an open ticket to allow a single user installation in the installer. I connected this discussion with the existing ticket. That means, should this discussion get closed, it will be re-opened as soon as the ticket is closed. That way you'll stay in the loop and get notified as soon as we have news. Feel free to open a new discussions should you run into further problems or need assistance.

Let me know if that worked as expected.

    Best,
    Steve
