Hi Ryan,
the key servers have not been the most reliable in the past few weeks. Sadly they have been abused to share bittorrent magnet links. Not sure if that is the reason for the unreliable behavior.
We are still investigating this and also reached out to one of the developers of the key server software.
As a temporary workaround, could you retry using the sks key server cluster and if taht keeps failing, switch to the uni mainz key server in GPG Keychain > Preferences > Key Servers.
Does the other server work?
Best,
Steve
