GPG Mail: After updating to OSX Mojave and GPG Suite 2018.4 (2310) I can't sign or encrypt emails on Mail
had the same problem but no idea whether for the same reasons...
anyway, in my case upgrading the GPG suite to the newest version removed my secret key from my keychain, and i had to import it from a backup again. this brought back the sign and enctypt options that had vanished from the upper right corners of all mail windows.
it's possible that the removal of the secret key had happened during an earlier upgrade of the GPG suite or had even been the result of a system upgrade by apple. it might just have slipped my attention because i don't use GPG mail so often anymore...

Hi Thomas,
welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.
Please excuse the late reply, we are deeply sorry for not responding earlier. The amount of feedback we received in regards to the GPG Suite 2018.4 release was overwhelming. We are doing our best to catch up as fast as we can.
Missing secret and or public keys in GPG Keychain can be a result of a failed migration during an update to GPG Suite which includes gpg 2.2.
This KB-article more details.
Glad you were already able to resolve this. I'm closing this discussion. Should you need further assistance or have questions you can re-open this discussion here or open a new one any time.
All the best,
