Which of our tools is giving you problems? GPG Encrypt

Attach a screenshot of the version info for all installed components (how to: https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/kb/faq/where-can-i-find-version-info...): 1.4.4 (1460)

Describe your problem. Add as much detail as possible.

I would like to encrypt a text file and the output to be text, not binary.

What did you expect instead

Describe steps leading to the problem.

On Mac, from command line and GUI interface

Are you using any other Mail.app plugins? No

    Hi Dave,

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

Please excuse the late reply, we are deeply sorry for not responding earlier. The amount of feedback we received in regards to the GPG Suite 2018.4 release was overwhelming - both positive and negative. We are doing our best to catch up as fast as we can.

The following two Knowledge Base articles explain how GPGServices is used:

    • KB explaining how to encrypt and sign text or files
    • KB explaining decryption and verification

Let me know if the KB articles did help you or if you need additional assistance.

    Best,
    Steve
