I recently upgraded GPG Mail with the GPG Suite 2018.4.2 software, and purchased the GPG Mail Support Plan. I have an older MacPro running Mac OS 10.11.6/Mail 9.3 and a MacBook Pro running 10.13.6/Mail 11.5

On the older MacPro, I keep getting the “GPGLoader” error on Mail startup, and GPG does not function.

I cannot find any link on your website to download prior versions of GPG Suite,

Which version of GPG DOES work with Mac OS 10.11.6 and Mail 9.3, and how do I get it? (I am sending this from the MacBook Pro that CAN run GPGMail 3.0).

Expected
I expected GPG Mail to work with Mail 9.3.

macOS 10.11.6 15G2201
GPG Suite 2017.3 2081 (9658b70)
GPGMail 2.6.4 1249 (d765eca)
GPG Keychain 1.4.2 1403 (128637e)
GPGServices 1.11.2 969 (e5438f7)
MacGPG 2.2.3 900 (cead4f9)
GPG Suite Preferences 2.1.1 993 (05eb1a6)

2018.3 is compatible with El Capitan (10.11.6.)

    Download here:

    Best regards,
    Armin.

    Hi KS Simmons,

as Armin correctly states, the latest release of GPG Suite which is compatible with macOS El Capitan is 2018.3. Unfortunately it is not possible to bring the latest fixes to GPG Mail for El Capitan, since too much has changed.

While it is still possible to install 2018.4 on El Capitan, as stated on our website, it is for Sierra and up only.

Seeing that your latest version does not run on El Capitan, I too would like to install this version on my old MacBook, which is running Mac OS 10.11.6.

I can obviously download 2018.3 from the link that Armin helpfully posted above. This does appear to be from your gpgtools website. But I would also like to be able to verify the SHA256 checksum.

Could you possibly post the checksum for this 2018.3 version, or give a URL from which it can be obtained?

If I can get this version working on my old laptop (which, for reasons I won't bore you with, I daren't upgrade to a more recent Mac OS), I'd be happy to then obtain and install your most recent release on my other Mac.

    Thanks & regards,
    Andrew

    Hi Kronsteen,

the sha256 checksum for 2018.3 is:
    00a6d0c69dd050acd2df4a34bf8502d4e0de3af9b4f7523a0003af14b60006be
