GPG Mail: You asked for feedback on the uninstall page
I gladly pay for software but not for dubious “subscriptions” and certainly not if I am forced to do it to get rid of that “Welcome to GPG Mail” every time I open Mail.
It feels like a ransomware, I lost trust and will try to uninstall the software (uninstaller on your site is from 2013).
Expected
I expected a fair and transparent opportunity to buy your software.

Hi Knut,
thanks for taking the time to share your concerns.
A few remarks:
If you are interested about details regarding this change:
FAQ: https://gpgtools.org/faq
Open Letter: https://gpgtools.org/open-letter
Support Plan: https://gpgtools.org/support-plan
The 30 day trail has full functionality. If you want to keep using GPG Mail after that, you can purchase a Support Plan. After that trial you will always be able to decrypt your messages.
The uninstaller is not working for you? Sorry I don't get the 2013 reference. Maybe you can elaborate?
Sorry to see you go.
Best,
steve

Hey Steve,
This support page links to an uninstaller app from 2013:
https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/kb/faq/uninstall-gpg-suite
But I used the uninstaller from the current archive. That seems to work but also does not uninstall everything like "org.gpgtools.gpgkeychain.sfl" in Application Support.
As I said I lost trust with that last intrusive "update". There are a bit too much "We are so sorry" in your latest communication which are not very believable. Still I hope you will make money, as the product was made with good intentions and you put a lot of work in it.
best Knut

Yes, the uninstaller should be working fine. If it is not, please do let us know. We will improve the uninstaller to make it easier to remove just GPG Mail.
Again, thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Best,
steve
