GPGMail: GPG stopped working

My encryption suddenly stopped working this morning on my mac. The signature and encryption buttons are no longer visible and when I try to open ld encrypted emails I receive an alert that the signature isn’t verified. I’m a complete novice and don’t know what to do next. I tried to reinstall the gpg suite (I was already up to date) but nothing has changed.

   The GPG Suite 2184n nightly update fixed my problem
