I can encrypt messages just fine -- and my friends can decrypt
what they read.

But I'm having trouble decrypting messages from them, even
though I have their keys. The "decrypt" button in Mail doesn't seem
to work. Then when I cut-and-paste the encrypted text into textedit
and try to decrypt, I get a "failed" message.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

noah.shachtmantag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/134110102012-02-03T19:11:07Z2012-02-03T19:11:07ZHaving trouble decrypting

Hey Noah,

we don't actively maintain the old 10.6 release of GPGMail. No
changes to the code will be made. Due to our team size we are
concentrating our efforts to make the Lion version stable and as
bug free as possible.

So all I can do now is suggest updating to 10.7. But I'm sure
you have reasons why you are still on 10.6.

Sorry, I don't have a better answer at the moment.

For the GPGServices issue: You could try the latest nightly from
here: <a href=

Also what is important to note is: you don't need your friends
pub key to decrypt a msg but you need your pub key. But they need
your pub key in order to decrypt msg for you.
