Duplicate OpenPGP services... I know some are for files and some text, but... when I select text I get the file/folder services in my context menu too? I don't think there is a way to remedy this but would it be possible for future updates to maybe have the services combined or is that not possible given the way services are setup by apple? Thanks.

Picture below of all the services, doubt you need to see it as it's on all of your mac's too ;) Had to take the picture of the services not in use but just in services manager since I can't take a screenshot while my context menu is open.

    Hi James,

both your problems are very strange. The missing icon and this one. Could you try to repair Disk Permissions? Maybe that will help

The reasons for this can be hard to trace down. Please try, what Luke wrote and also:

Could you please load the GPGServices nightly from: http://nightly.gpgtools.org/

Then run the uninstaller first and re-intall please. Does this fix the menu entries?

    All the best, steve

Hmm, no luck on either front but thank you for the suggestions and responses.

I repaired my permissions after uninstalling. Repaired them again after installing the nightly build and still have a broken growl image and duplicate entries in the services menu.

Note that the services menu has duplicates but they are not all under text... some of the entries are under files and folders, am I the only one that has file and folder services? Lastly, it wouldn't really be too big of an issue but considering that when working in textedit the multiple entries appear even though I am only working on text.

Anything else I can try or do? I'm happy to guinea pig this thing if I have too. I am running on 10.7.3 (although same problems appeared on 10.7.2) MBP Early 2008 - 2.6 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Hey Hushmah, I wish I knew, what info to ask for.

We already have a ticket for this problem: http://support.gpgtools.org/discussions/everything/806-duplicate-op...

Feel free to subscribe to the ticket if you want to be notified of any changes made.

Part of the team (including me) has had this issue. For whatever reasons it does no longer appear on my own system. But we have no clue so far, what's causing this problem. We did investigate couple of ideas but none did bring up a solution so far.

Closing for now. If you have new findings, feel free to re-open this discussion or add to the existing ticket.

All the best, sry I don't have a better answer currently, steve
