Which of our tools is giving you problems? GPG-Keychain

Attach a screenshot of the version info for all installed components (how to:

Describe your problem. Add as much detail as possible.

More of a question - but what is the current "good" list of supported/working keyservers? I'm not sure if the ones I use are current or not (more often than not, I'm not able to lookup other user's keys, so I assume I'm looking at the wrong servers).
Also, in the list, are ALL of those servers queried for a lookup?
Are all the servers in the list used for upload? If not, is it possible to do that?

What did you expect instead

Describe steps leading to the problem.

Are you using any other plugins?

    Hi css-gpgtools,

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

Attached a screenshot of the current default key server list.

sks is actually a key server cluster. So it is our recommended default as of now. hkps means your queries are encrypted, which is a good thing. The remaining kkp entry is merely a fallback option. If you can use hkps.

The key servers are in sync so if you upload to one of the servers from the cluster or any of the other key servers in the default list for that matter, after some time (should not take much longer than a few hours at max) the information is synced to the other key servers.

There is no differentiation between upload and querie servers. They all do both.

When you are seeing those issues you mention do you receive an error message? If so, can you please take a screenshot next time you run into that so we have more details about what could be going wrong and attach that to this discussion?

No errors, I'm really just interested in what the default and/or recommended keyservers are. I'm sure some have been added or deprecated since I started using this tool many years ago... what does a current out of the box install set as the list?

The screenshot I sent in my last reply shows the default list with the default key server selected. The reply is here:
