Disclaimer: This is a development version which has not been thoroughly tested yet - bugs or crashes are to be expected. Thanks for helping us test.

Stevetag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/454015732018-06-02T11:35:26Z2018-06-02T11:53:53ZCan encrypt a file, but not decrypt it (software on senders side creates OpenPGP encrypted files with no MDC)

Debugged in live chat.

Reason for this behavior was two fold:

Jan has a 1024bit key

software sending the encrypted files creates files with no MDC

To resolve this situation:

Jan will decrypt all files encrypted to her old key with 2018.1 installed

new stronger key will be created

files can be re-encrypted with new key if necessary

if possible find out which software it is, that creates encrypted files with no MDC

Best,
