first things first: you are using a rather old version of GPG Suite. Do you have the automatic update check enabled in System Preferences > GPG Suite Preferences?

If you manually check for updates, are you being offered a new version?

The 100MB warning is there for a reason. How big are the files you are looking to encrypt? The warning will not prevent you from encrypting larger files, but you should double check a) you are able to decrypt and b) the decrypted file is fine.

Best,

There is language in the warning that says "we are on it" and suggests it might be reliable for large files in the future. I just wondered if that had been done.

The warning suggests using Terminal. How do you encrypt it via Terminal?

htmanningtag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/451305222018-04-20T07:32:30Z2018-04-20T07:32:30ZGPGServices: Is there a version that does not have the 100 MB warning

300MB should work without problems. the 100MB warning was a very conservative approach to be on the save side. Have you tested encrypting the 300MB file?

Stevetag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/451305222018-05-17T08:10:32Z2018-05-17T08:10:32ZGPGServices: Is there a version that does not have the 100 MB warning

I have, it's just slow. It works though.

Thanks.

htmanningtag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/451305222018-05-20T12:49:22Z2018-05-20T12:49:22ZGPGServices: Is there a version that does not have the 100 MB warning

How long does it take for you? Encrypting a single 300MB file takes under 10 seconds here. But things may differ if you have a lot of small files in that folder which first have to get zipped.

Steve
