that was needed to encrypt a message with. For example if I'm
sending email to name@gmail.com, but their key says
anothername@someotheremail.com,
I could pick what I wanted to use from a drop-down menu.

That no longer works. Is this is a bug or on purpose? I don't
see any way to select a key I want to use, the only option that
works is sending from a email address that belongs to my key (there
is no way for me to send From: a different account), and send to a
email address directly tied to the person's email I want to
communicate with.

I don't understand how to make it work anymore. Where there used
to always be drop-down alternate choices, there are now just greyed
out icons that don't let me do anything.

Arn. Htag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/116994862011-12-03T17:34:14Z2011-12-03T17:34:14ZCan't pick keys to encrypt with?

Hey Arn,

this is not an issue. You simply enter the mail address you want
to write to in the recipients field. If you have a key for that
mail address in your GPG Keychain Access, then you'll be able to
encrypt that message.

Ah now I see, you are actually asking about your own mail adress
(if you have several in one key).

That is not a GPGMail issue it's a question of how you have
setup Mail.app itself.

In Accounts you can either add separate accounts for each mail
address you have. Then when you create a new message you'll be able
to choose from the dropdown menu, which of your mails you want to
write from.

Does this clarify things? Feel free to re-open this discu

Hope this helps,
