Since updating Enigmail 1.9.9 on 19 December none of my encrypted mail in Thunderbird 52.5.0 / GPG 2017.2 is decrypting. This has happened before with isolated addresses, but now all Enigmail is unreadable. There is not a problem with the sender’s keys.

Mail to work.

Problem is resolved by installing GPG nightly:
    GPG Suite 2017.3 (2075n)

    Glad this worked!

    Hi Ned,

due to an error in our latest stable release, a custom version of GnuPG was preferred over our own, which lead to the problems described by you. From the debug log I can tell, that you have an old GnuPG 1.x version installed, which is accidentally picked up and used by GPG Suite.
The nightly does address this issue.

Very glad this issue is solved for you.

    hi Luke,
Thanks a lot for replying and picking up on this so quickly. I should
have looked at the discussion thread before posting but hadn't tracked
it down. Glad the nightly did the trick.

Yeah, this one is a nasty one. Even though it fortunately only affects a very small set of our users, we didn't catch it in our testing.
