<p>This sounds like your password is either cached or stored in macOS keychain.</p>
<p>Please see this <a href="https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/kb/faq/passphrase-management">KB-article</a> on how to manage passwords for your keys.</p>
<p>Pressing the Delete button in System Preferences > GPG Suite Preferences should result in pinentry asking again for your password.</p>
