Which of our tools is giving you problems? GPC decrypt

Attach a screenshot of the version info for all installed components (how to: https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/kb/faq/where-can-i-find-version-info...):

Describe your problem. Add as much detail as possible. After decrypting a *.zip file once with a password you can do it again even after "store in keychain" and "remember" are unticked.

What did you expect instead

That i had to re-enter my key password to decrypt the file.

Describe steps leading to the problem. zip up some files
encrypt it with your key & password
decrypt it with key
click on encrypted zip again & click OK without entering a password
file decrypts

Are you using any other Mail.app plugins? no

    Hi Ian,

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

This sounds like your password is either cached or stored in macOS keychain.

Please see this KB-article on how to manage passwords for your keys.

Pressing the Delete button in System Preferences > GPG Suite Preferences should result in pinentry asking again for your password.

Let me know if this answered your question.

    Best,
    steve
