Same think here. Usually, re-installing GPGMail with the last version (even if that version is a bit old) did the trick. Not this time.

And can't compile it for 10.11.
First try today I had a error log instead of deleting the bundle. I search and have a look.
But that's not my world and I need a quick solution...

Getting the same error on the El Capitan beta.
Support Staff 4 Posted by Steve on 17 Jul, 2015 01:31 PM
Hi all,
at the moment, GPGMail is not compatible with the beta of OS X 10.11.
We have a ticket for this problem. I connected this discussion with the existing ticket. That means, should this discussion get closed, it will be re-opened as soon as the ticket is closed. That way you'll receive a notification. Feel free to open a new discussions should you run into further problems or need assistance.
We are looking into this, but as usual don't give ETAs to avoid frustration both for users and devs.
All the best,
steve

Latest El Capitan beta 15A243d released 8/5/15 completely crashes Mail.app rather than just requiring the plugin to be disabled.

Just checked the most current GPGMail nightly, and it crashes Mail.app still

Mail crashes upon opening, will there be a quick fix as I can to work this way or would I restore to a previous os?
8 Posted by gvantass on 25 Aug, 2015 06:45 AM
David, this link will get you working, though you will have to be without GPGMail. The only way to get Mail.app in El Cap to work right now is to remove GPGMail.
Your only option (as far as I know) for using GPGMail currently is to go back to OS X 10.10.x

Right now, your best bet is to disable GPGMail (see below) and then use GPGServices from within Mail.app to encrypt your mails until a first test version is ready for 10.11.
Restart mail and check in Mail.app > Preferences if you still see GPGMail. It should be gone.

Following the instructions from these two simple procedures fixed it for me:
http://osxdaily.com/2014/02/05/uninstall-mail-app-plugin-mac-os-x/
then
http://osxdaily.com/2013/08/01/rebuild-mailbox-reindex-messages-mai...
then reinstalling GPG Suite fixed it for me

Jeff, all you have to do at the moment to have a running GPGMail is download and install the latest release from our homepage. It includes the 2.6b2 beta release for 10.11.
Note that the beta will be disabled once the license system has been finalized.

That's what I did the first time, but Mail kept crashing. Maybe I made a
mistake somewhere (I don't think so), all I know is after I did this, it
worked.
Thanks,
Jeff

Good to hear! Thanks for the feedback, Jeff.

I am trying to send through mail, but they ask for a password. I put the password in and it says Unable to verify account name or password. I'm ready to throw this junk into the river.

Hi Steve,
from what I see, this is your first post on this support platform. And the report is not specific to the discussion you posted it in.
While we understand that you are frustrated, ranting won't get things fixed.
Please create a new discussion and make sure to fill all the default questions and we'll have a closer look at what's going on in your case.
Kindly,
steve

This means you entered the wrong password. It has to be the same as the one used to create the keys. The tool works great, I've used it on and off for years. Not a piece of junk.
Good luck
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
No, Steve probably did not enter the wrong password.
I had the same problem today with my pop gmx.net mail accounts after upgrading to OS X 10.11 El Capitan.
Fetching mails was okay, but sending was impossible. I got always the question to enter my password. After entering the password, I got the message that mail was not able to verify my account. And I can assure you I used the correct passwords for all accounts since I double checked them trough entering my mailboxes on the gmx.net website.
After searching the web for a solution to this problem I found the following workaround:
http://osxdaily.com/2015/07/05/resolving-mail-problems-os-x-update/
And what should I say ? Problem solved.
Michaela

Great you found a workaround. All I know is I had a similar problem and fixed it by generating a new key pair because my current one was a few years old and I forgot the password. After creating a new key pair and entering the correct password on a mail send attempt, it worked fine. I'll keep out of the help thread because I am only an occasional user, not a guru like the others.
Thanks for the feedback and workaround link.

So having just downloaded El Capitan, and having all sorts of problems with the program freezing at 90 per cent complete, it now shuts down my mail account within seconds of it opening. Has anyone else had this problem, and is their a solution? Reading some of the Apple responses, they seem pretty clueless.
20 Posted by gvantass on 05 Oct, 2015 04:24 AM
In my experience, Mail.app has been a thorn in my side after every OS X update since at least 10.5. Yes, I use several mail plug-ins, and they often don't play well with the first public release of mail.app.
Be that as it may. Have you tried to do a complete GPGTools uninstall/reboot/reinstall? That might help clean out some of the cobwebs, so to speak
21 Posted by gvantass on 05 Oct, 2015 04:29 AM
Have you tried to uninstall GPGTools suite, reboot, reinstall GPGTools? I have found that Mail.app tends to be a problem child after every upgrade, at least since 10.5

Dear all,
if you are seeing any trouble with GPGMail / GPG Suite on 10.11 please open separate discussions and make sure to answer all default questions.
We'll then be happy to help you out.
@gvantass: Are you seeing any issues at the moment? Please do create a new discussion as well in that case.
Thanks.

I have El Capitan running and my mail (outlook) is crashing when I access an email or try to send one. Clearly writing me an email won't help but I am now desperate to sort this out! Ill keep checking here for any guidance/assistance.
Support Staff 24 Posted by Steve on 07 Oct, 2015 10:34 AM
Ankie, GPG Suite does not interfere with MS Outlook. It is know that MS Office and 10.11 are having issues currently. You should get in touch with Microsoft and let them know about the issues you are seeing.
Maybe now is a good time to try out mail.app with GPGMail and see if that might fit your needs.
All the best,
steve
