the comment is configured in gpg.conf which you'll find in
~/.gnupg.
To open and change that file follow these steps:

1.) Open new Finder Window
2.) Press CMD (Apple) + Shift + G simultaneously
3.) Enter

~/.gnupg

4.) Press Open
5.) You'll see the file gpg.conf in there, right-click on that file
and open with TextEdit.
6.) Look for the line starting with "comment ..."
7.) To completely remove the comment put a '#' in front of the
line

comment ...

or change it to whatever you want.

Hope that helps

Luke Letag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/130857092012-01-26T23:11:55Z2012-01-26T23:11:55ZGPGTools comment (web)

Also we have already integrated an editing feature in the
latest, unreleased version of the GPGPreferences. But you can try
the nightly from there. You'll find a comment field in which you
can modify or remove the text in question.

Thanks. I haven't removed it (great tools and I'm happy to
advertise), but I am glad to know where the config file is so I can
add or change things as I see fit.

Thanks again,
