Signing your message failed because an unknown error has occured

New GPG user on Mac OSx

Used GPG Keychain as per "First steps instructions" and created a new sec/pub key. Used mail.app to create and sign new email and after sending the email I get the following message:

Unfortunately we can't handle the error at this point.

Should your problem persist, please contact us at http://support.gpgtools.org with the following error description:

gpg: problem with the agent: Timeout
gpg: skipped "BD50B293C192FD544C66DF0FDD4BFFAD300675A3": Operation cancelled
gpg: signing failed: Operation cancelled

Any guidance is appreciated.

   Hi,

   to help us fix this bug, please do the following:
   1.) Install the stable release from our website (https://gpgtools.org/)
   2.) Add the two lines below to ~/.gnupg/gpg-agent.conf
   

   log-file /tmp/gpg-agent.log
   debug-level expert
   

   3.) Run the following command in the Terminal:
   

   killall gpg-agent
   

   4.) Send us the file /tmp/gpg-agent.log after the next Timeout-Error.
   5.) Remove the two lines from gpg-agent.conf.

   The joy of spam protection: ERROR: Unable to process Allowed Sender request. Hope this triggers another validation option so we can get our message to the original poster.
