I'm receiving encrypted files with the extensions xlsx.pgp and docx.pgp that cannot be decrypted. I'd be grateful for your assistance.
Thanks.

Hi Nickjay,
sorry for not responding earlier. We were having very busy times preparing the now available GPG Suite 2015 06.
So for starters, could you please visit our homepage, download and install the latest stable GPG Suite.
If then your problem persists, please visit the Enigmail support. We are not the developers of the Enigmail plugin. If you want you can try out Mail.app with the GPGMail plugin and see if that works.
Do keep us posted how this turns out.
@Voo Bee: Please also contact Thunderbird support. This seems to be a problem with the mail client on the receiving end. From what I recall, The latest Enigmail should be able to deal with PGP/MIME mails just fine.
All the best,
steve

This definitely seems to be an Engimail problem.
Since the most recent update of Enigmail, I've been having the same problem using Thunderbird 31.6 (configured for IMAP off my own server) and Enigmail 1.8.2 on Win7.
I'm able to access attachments fine if manually downloading from webmail, then decrypting using CML or Kleopatra, or even if I save a local copy of the email from TBird, then decrypt the .eml via CML or Kleopatra, then re-open with TBird, it works. But if I decrypt with Enigmail, I get an 'attachment appears to be empty' issue each time, with multiple different file types and with a few different GPG configurations.
Best,

Jim, thanks for the update. Could one of you report this to the Enigmail team (they are friendly peopel and do respond) to move things forward. Maybe they are not yet aware of this.
If you like do keep us and other users posted here with updates.
Kindly,
steve
