OSX 10.10.2
GPGMail: 2.5b5 (Build 891b)
GPG Keychain: 1.2.b5 (Build 1010b)
GPG Services: 1.10b5 (Build 760b)
MacGPG2: 2.0.26b5 (Build 791b)
GPGPerferences: 1.5.b5 (Biuild 761b)

Signing does not work I noticed it first when using Mail. The error message is:
gpg: Problem mit dem Agenten: No pinentry
gpg: übersprungen "my key ID is here": Operation cancelled
gpg: signing failed: Operation cancelled

Then I tried to sign a selected part of a text I wrote with textEdit
This led to the following Error Message:
Encrypt/sign failed! (No pinentry)
Code = 85

What did you expect instead

My Mail should have been signed and send / The selected text should have been signed.

Describe steps leading to the problem.

Wrote the Mail, (sign is automatically activated for all mails i send). Then hit send button and received the error described above
Wrote a text, selected it and did a right click. Went to services and choose sign selected text. Then the described error showed up.

    Hi Ingo,

thanks for taking the time to report this problem. It is a known issue and I have connected this discussion with the existing. We have yet to find out, what exactly is causing this, but assume it is related to sleep / wake behavior of the mac. Are you using sleep mode?
The workaround is, to simply restart your mac and you should be back in working state.
We'll update this discussion as soon as we have news about this issue.

    All the best,
    steve

    Hi Ingo,

good news. We think, this issue has been fixed. If you want to test the fix, please download our latest nightly GPG Suite. That page also has sig and SHA1 to verify the download. It would be very helpful, if you can provide feedback, as to whether the fix works as expected.

If you have other questions you can open a new discussion any time.

    Best, steve

Disclaimer: This is a development version which has not been thoroughly tested yet, so bugs or crashes are to be expected. Thanks for helping us test this fix.
