Mail to non Mac Users
If you send encr. Mail to someone non-mac, how will they know what plugin they need to view it - specially considering I eon't nessecarily know their OS? Has this been remedied in new paid version. If not why should anyone pay when Yosemite will also encrypt emails?

Hi Oli,
if you download and install our latest nightly build and open GPG Keychain, when you right click any public key or sec / pub, you will find an optino to "Mail public key".
That option will create a new mail with the public key attached. The mail content will explain what options exist for each OS.
Also you might want to link your friends this page, covering various encryption solutions for each platform: https://ssd.eff.org/
What do you mean with "yosemite will also encrypt mails"?
All the best,
steve
You can find sig and SHA1 on the GPGTools Nightlies page.
All the best, steve

Hi Steve
Ok got it thanks Steve - like the system would support it.

Etc.
Not saying its any good as a solution - just ex. what you're confronted with as a fairly uninformed consumer when you google search
Best

Ah ok, I think that article is referring to iCloud encryption. The following article sheds some light on problems (using imessages as example): http://arstechnica.com/security/2013/06/can-apple-read-your-imessag...

Ok thanks Steve.
Yes I get it.
So, re. GPG Tools and your future plans, fair play to you - no problem in subscribing/paying for license.
Best wishes
Olli
