We are trying to use GPG tools to encrypt emails but after
installing I get an error where the keychain access will not
launch. I read on line to change the config file to lock-never and
then the gpg keychain access file is able to launch but has trouble
generating keys. Comes back with a fatal error. We are using this
with user account coming from our ldap server. When I try it on my
local laptop with a local home folder it works great as expected,
but when we use it with a network home folder it does not work
properly, or at all. Any thoughts or suggestions.

Benjamintag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/348737502014-10-10T15:34:27Z2014-10-10T15:34:27ZUsing with Network homes

Hi Benjamin,

unfortunately networked homes are only supported (and not
always) if the home is located on a hfs+ formatted drive.
The locking mechanism in gnupg prevents other partition formats
from working.
We'll be looking into this problem but a fix is is not to be
expected soon.

Sorry for that.

Luke Letag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/348737502014-10-10T15:42:08Z2014-10-10T15:42:08ZUsing with Network homes

We've a ticket for this problem:
