Dear lsmith,
could you please provide some more information what exactly you are trying to do?
With which software are you trying to do what? We need this info to help you solve your issues.
Here's a form for your report. Could you fill that?

Hope this helps,
steve

Hi,
please make sure you've downloaded the latest version (Version 2011.11.17, and once is enough) from http://www.gpgtools.org/installer/index.html and to have a look at the screencast at http://www.gpgtools.org/screencast.html.
It's interesting to see that there might be still issue on some systems. Please tell us more details so we can look into it.
Best regards, Alex

Dear Rene,
please note that you can only encrypt a message if you have the public key of the recipient in your keychain. Is that the case?

Hello Steve
Im not sure I understand your last message - Have tested towards a person where I have the PUB Key - still cannot encrypt

Just to verify:
You mean you can't reproduce the workflow shown at our screencast? I.e. you can't send encrypted mails to gpgtools-org (at) lists.gpgtools (dot) org and you've a key for exactly the mail address you're using in Mail.app? Could you provide as the according screenshot, please?

Hi,
could you check your Console.app output and post that here?
That might help to solve the issue.

I send you Screen Shots and Console output when trying to send to you support email which PUB KEY is in my keychain

Hi René,
apparently you do in fact have the correct public keys.
Below you'll find a link to the dev version of GPGMail.
Please check if you are able to encrypt using that version.

May or may not be relevant, but I've found that if I add a public key to my keychain, I need to restart Mail before I can encrypt email to that user. Until I restart the lock button remains greyed out.

Hi Doug,
yeah, this is still a missing feature of the alpha version, but will be added in the next release, which is due soon.
