Hi all, after running the September 19 OSX system software update, upon opening mail I am greeted with a message saying incompatible plugin disabled; GPGMail. Opening GPG Keychain Access and checking for updates, I see I have the latest version. Would reinstalling help anything, or do we need to wait for an upgraded app?

Is your software compatible with 6.0 mail? Will it work with GMAIL?

Same issue here. Might try a reinstall but not expecting it to help.

the problem persists even to me, due to the Update to version 10.7.5 but a fix to make it work with the mountain lion?

Same here. Plugin is not longer compatible to Apple Mail after update from 10.7.4 to 10.7.5.

This version is for OS X 10.7 (Lion) only. Please give a link for 10.6.8

    Hi Andrey.

We don't have a fix for 10.6.8 yet.
Will update this discussion once something's available.

Thanks, my Lion OS 10.7.5, after running the update, is fixed. Mail app now loads GPG and all is well. Great work guys, very fast.

    Hi Andrey,

could you please test the attached version for us?
We don't have a 10.6.8 test system at the moment.

    Installation:

    1.) Close Mail.app
    2.) Unzip the file
3.) Move GPGMail.mailbundle into /Library/Mail/Bundles if it already exists otherwise into ~/Library/Mail/Bundles
4.) Re-open Mail.app and check if it works.

@QAEngineer: Thank you very much! We do what we can :)

Andrey, could you try to re-install GPGTools from https://nightly.gpgtools.org?
That should fix permissions, remove any duplicate bundles (which could lead to the problem persisting).

Let us know if it works!

That's funny. When starting Mail, I get a message about disabling of the plugin. But it looks all works...

That might mean that you've two versions of the plugin installed now. The old one, not compatible one. And the new one.

Could you check ~/Library/Mail/Bundles and /Library/Mail/Bundles

Only one plugin should exist. If you have two of them, remove both and copy the one I attached for you into /Library/Mail/Bundles.

    Hi,

the fix for the 10.6.8 OS version with GPGMail.mailbundle worked for me. I deleted the deactived versions and copied the file to ~/Library/Mail/Bundles. Then I restarted Mail and the gpgmail plugin works again.

    Thanks for the ULTRAFAST fix!

    Regards

    Friedrich
