GPG Keychain: Error Signing a Public Key (Mac)
Which of our tools is giving you problems? GPG Keychain
Describe your problem. Add as much detail as possible. I'm using a smart card that has my signing private key on it. I want to sign another public key so I right click > sign on their public key, but it fails with "Code 17 no secret key"
Signing text files from my terminal works fine, it even pops up the pinentry input screen.
What did you expect instead The app should interface with a smart card.
Describe steps leading to the problem. Open GPG Keychain with your smart card plugged in
Right click on any public key
Click "Sign"
Click "Sign" again
Are you using any other Mail.app plugins? no

Hi kit,
welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry that GPG Suite is causing problems for you.
I tried to reproduce on macOS 13.4.1 (c) with GPG Suite 2023.3 but was unable to. Which macOS are you using?
Are you able to sign emails or messages using your OpenPGP key on your YubiKey?
