so I'm using the alpha version (I guess? Or should I uncheck
"download beta versions"?) of GPGMail in Mac OS 10.7 and I keep
Thunderbird with Enigmail around to be able to reply using
per-recipient rules (encrypted google groups and so on).
In Apple Mail using GPGMail however, I get asked for my passphrase
all the time. I guess this is due to spotlight wanting to read
those emails, but it's not just once every time there is a new one.
First, I resolved to leaving the query box on a desktop that I
don't use.
Recently though, even after entering the passphrase, it keeps
asking me again and again, as though I had just entered a wrong
passphrase. I now disabled GPGMail, having to fire up Thunderbird
every time I want to read an encrypted email.
Any ideas for help with this mess, or is that just what we have to
deal because of Lion?

GPGTools Website Feedbacktag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/148331562012-03-28T07:35:49Z2012-03-28T07:35:49ZToo many passphrase queries (web)

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback. Have you disabled the following
option: "Mail.app > Preferences > GPGMail > Create Liste
Preview"? Alternatively you could save your password in the
encrypted OS X keychain instead of providing it to key loggers

Please let us know if this worked for you.

Best regards, Alex

Alex
