Can I decrypt a message on a second computer with only the public key and passphrase?
Hi, I need to decrypt a message in other machine and I don't have access to the computer where I have my key. If I have the public key and the passphrase, I can decrypt messages or that is not possible.

Hi John,
welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry to hear you are having problems using GPG Suite.
The requirement to decrypt and encrypted message is that you have access to the secret key part of the key with which the message has been encrypted with (using the corresponding public key) and the passphrase with which the secret key part is protected.
So to answer your question: in order to decrypt you will need to transfer your secret key to your second computer.
This KB-article explains how to transfer keys to a second mac if you want to use the same keys on more than a single machine.
Make sure to always update your key on all your macs whenever you make a change to the key. Otherwise your keys will go out of sync which is likely to cause bug headaches further down the road.
Let me know if you have more questions or need further assistance after going through that KB.
All the best,
Steve
