Which of our tools is giving you problems?

GPG Keychain Version 1.7 (1653) on mac OS 11.2.3 (20D91)

Attach a screenshot of the version info for all installed components (how to: https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/kb/faq/where-can-i-find-version-info...):

OK.

Describe your problem. Add as much detail as possible.

When I select "Check for updates..." in the GPG Keychain menu, the front windows get deactivated, and nothing else happens.

What did you expect instead

I am expecting to see a window that says "You are on version x and the latest version is y. Please update by doing the following..."

Describe steps leading to the problem.

select "Check for updates..." in the GPG Keychain menu

Are you using any other Mail.app plugins?

No. I do not use Mail.app

    Hi Albert,

thanks for taking the time to report this problem.

This issue has already been fixed. If you want to test the fix, please download our latest hotfix GPG Suite. That page also has Signature file and SHA256 to verify the download. Thanks for helping us test this fix.

You may have to restart your mac after installing the hotfix for the fix to fully take effect.

    Best,
    Steve

Disclaimer: This is a development version which has not been thoroughly tested yet, so bugs or crashes are to be expected.
