GPG Services: No encrypted or decrypted file after using Services menu option (temp file appears then disappears)
Hi, I've just downloaded GPGTools and I'm having an issue encrypting and decrypting files. I'm using MacOS 11.2 and the stable version of GPG Suite currently posted on the website (2020.2).
With the file highlighted, I use the services menu to encrypt the file and I sign the file with my existing key. According to the support page this creates an encrypted version of the file with .gpg appended to it. (In this case I'm just creating a dummy text file called test.txt with some plaintext inside")
I notice that there is a file created temporarily with the filename "test.txt.gpg_gpg(N9l).tmp" which then immediately disappears.
Encryption / decryption from the command line works just fine.
Any thoughts?

Same for me. All as working fine, then it stopped working with the same issue.
I think it is related to the upgrade to Big Sur.
Will there be a new version compatible with Big Sur soon?

Hi antnythr and fsimon,
welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.
Could you please download and install our latest hotfix GPG Suite and see if that solves your problem.
All the best,
Steve

Installing the hotfix version seems to have fixed the issue for me.
Thank you.
