GPG Keychain: error while searching...
Search keys failed! (No keyserver available)

I expected the file to be verified.

Was trying to look up for a public address “0x2bd5824b7f9470e6” in the search for public key when I go that error window above

Hi almuawak,
welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.
There are a few aspects to your problem. First you are using an old version of GPG Suite which is no longer supported. That also means there is no support for the new key server which provides a much more reliable key server.
Can you let us know which key server you see in GPG Keychain > Preferences > Key server. Sadly, the old sks key servers have become rather unreliable and we no longer recommend using them.
Your best bet would be to update macOS, if your hardware allows.
