GPG Keychain: GPG export not working using GPG Suite 2018.3

When i click export on the tool bar or in the menubar it doesn’t work.

Expected
To be able to export my key file to add to my email

   Hi Anothony,

   welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

   You are using a very outdated version of GPG Suite. Did you intentionally disable the update check? You can enable it in System Preferences > GPG Suite > Settings > Updates.

   If you want to keep it disabled, please do a manual search for an update. Should that trigger problems, download GPG Suite 2020.1 from our website.

   Are you then able to export keys as expected?
