Which of our tools is giving you problems? GPG Suite 2020.1 Installer for macOS.

Attach a screenshot of the version info for all installed components (how to: https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/kb/faq/where-can-i-find-version-info...): N/A

Describe your problem. Add as much detail as possible. Even when GPG Mail is officially not compatible with macOS Big Sur yet, I found no mentions to the rest of the suite. Regardless, the installation of the suite fails right on start with the following message: "This version of GPG Suite can only be installed on macOS 10.12 or newer." Tried the dmg installer from the official site and both the full and no-mail Homebrew packages. All throw the same error.
Is there any workaround to successfully install the suite on Big Sur? I mainly needed to sign git commits, not email.

What did you expect instead The installation to succeed.

Describe steps leading to the problem. Download the dmg from GPG Tools site, run the installer on macOS Big Sur Beta (20A5323l).
Same issue if trying to install the suite using brew cask install gpg-suite or brew cask install gpg-suite-no-mail.

Are you using any other Mail.app plugins? No.

    Hi Gabriel,

on which hardware are you trying to install GPG Suite? The DTK from Apple or a current mac?

Are you running Big Sure beta 3?

    All the best,
    Steve

Steve, I'm trying on a MacBook Pro 13" 2017. It is running macOS Big Sur 11.0 Beta (20A5323l).

11.0 Beta (20A5323l) is indeed b3. Confirming your finding.

    Steve, thanks for that.

I sent an update to this thread a few weeks ago and now I see it was not published. In that update I mentioned that I was able to install GPG Suite it after upgrading to macOS Big Sur beta 4.

Will give the nightly a try anyway. Thanks!

I can confirm the nightly does install correctly on Big Sur beta 4 (public beta 1; holding off on beta 5 [public beta 2] due to some reported reliability regression for key apps) as of writing.

At that point, GPG Keychain.app launches & appears to be working properly. However, the GPG Suite preferences pane cannot be opened ("Could not load GPG Suite preference pane." when clicked) and the GPG Mail plugin bundle is still incompatible (automatically disables on the relaunch of Mail.app.) I'm sure these are known issues that are actively being worked on, though.
