GPG KeyChain Access keyserver search not working

Keyserver search (Key -> Search for key) fails with Code = 40 when started from GPG KeyChain access (see attached image), but works when done from the command line (sorry, german localization):
[mymachine:~] myname% gpg2 --search-keys [email blocked] gpg:
suche nach "[email blocked]" auf
ldap-Server keys.mycompany.com

Hi Malte,
so you are using an company intern key server of your own? Not sure how to test against that.
Searching for keys works fine for me using hkp://pool.sks-keyservers.net as key server.
Did you try that? What results are you getting?
