welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

Our key has already been extended. Please select the key in GPG Keychain and press ⌘ Command U to updated the selected key from the key server.

Let me know if that worked.

All the best,

Yes, that worked, although I used the command line ('gpg --refresh-keys --keyserver hkps://keys.openpgp.org'. I used hkps://keys.openpgp.org because hkps://hkps.pool.sks-keyservers.net (which was the default on my system) gave a 'signature packet: hashed data too long' error back).

Sorry for the confusion, I check gpg signatures often, but my understanding of key management is still limited.

Kind regards,

I would recommend to switch the default key server to hkps://keys.openpgp.org in GPG Keychain > Preferences > Key Server.

It is a far superior solution compared to the old key servers.

Glad this is solved for you. I'm closing this discussion. Should you need further assistance or have questions you can re-open this discussion here or open a new one any time.

Best,
