This is the first time I have used GPG Tools and I received files that I need to decrypt and open but when I open up the tool, I am asked for a Passphrase. What is this and where do I find the information.

    Hi Lisa,

it seems you have created a secret / public key in GPG Keychain. When I search the key server for your email I do find a verified key so it was uploaded and verified.

The password pinentry mac is asking for with the dialog you are seeing is the password you using when you created your key in GPG Keychain.

Do you recall the password you have used during key creation?

    All the best,
    Steve
