<p>welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.</p>
<p>Please open Mail > Preferences > GPG Mail and untick the option to "Sign new emails".</p>

<p>Thanks, that was it. It was just that these settings were somewhat hidden in the preferences pane.<br>
Suggestion for the future, if possible: Get all settings together in one place, the fact that some clearly mail-related settings are in the systems preferences and some are in this semi-hidden one inside Mail is a bit confusing.</p>
<p>For the rest the product looks quite polished and seems to work great sofar!</p>
