gpg using 100% cpu on centos

I'm using gpg (GnuPG) 2.0.22. It's consuming 100% cpu while encrypting a file. Please let me know if any way to limit it's usage.. It's affecting other programs on the same server. I'm working on centos

    welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Our software GPG Suite only works on macOS.

    So this question is best asked at the gnupg users mailling list.
