I can install the software and create an initial key but there is no evidence of the tool within the mail programm. Also I can see the icon in the system preferences but clicking on it hangs the system preference window.

does anybody have the same issue?

I'm having a great deal of problems using this in snow leopard as well.
Actually, i am being polite because i'm finding this tool pretty horrible. For instance, signing a public key doesn't work at all. Merely a pop up is displayed saying "adding signature" but the pop up never goes away. When i hit cancel it says: "Adding signature failed. *** -[NSConcreteFileHandle availableData]: unknown error]".

A similar issue happens when i try to delete a key. In this case, again a popup is displayed but this time saying "Deleting key". When hit cancel the message "Deleting key failed. *** -[NSConcreteFileHandle availableData]: Bad file descriptor]" is displayed.

Please someone help. I'm going nuts here.

thanks for the feedback. We are really sorry, but some 10.6 issues slipped into the latest release.

We are currently working on that. Again, sorry for the trouble.

    Hi everybody,

we've just released a new version of GPG Suite which might potentially fix the problems you're seeing.
    You can download it from

Please let us know if it works afterwards.
